Industrial Pre-Construction/Project Manager - New Jersey
The Industrial Pre-Construction / Project Manager will oversee the pre-construction phase of large-scale industrial projects, including warehouses and distribution centers. This role requires managing schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring smooth project transitions from planning to execution.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-construction phase of industrial projects, including cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely project planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and align project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents and permits, ensuring all are in place prior to project initiation.
- Provide ongoing support to the project management team once the project moves into construction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the pre-construction phase.
Profile
Successful Candidate:
- 10+ years of experience in pre-construction or project management within the industrial or commercial construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes in New Jersey.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- PMP or similar certifications preferred, but not required.
