The Industrial Pre-Construction / Project Manager will oversee the pre-construction phase of large-scale industrial projects, including warehouses and distribution centers. Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre-construction phase of industrial projects, including cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely project planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and align project goals.
• Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents and permits, ensuring all are in place prior to project initiation.
• Provide ongoing support to the project management team once the project moves into construction.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the pre-construction phase.

Profile

Successful Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in pre-construction or project management within the industrial or commercial construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes in New Jersey.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
• PMP or similar certifications preferred, but not required.
