Sr. Project Manager - Top 100 ENR - Charlotte, NC

With multiple offices and over 500 employees across the US, this top ENR contractor has grown strategically while also retaining talent and providing great benefits for their employees. They are best known for their delivery of design/build manufacturing, light industrial, pharmaceutical, and mission critical projects.
Description
- Oversee all phases of large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Lead project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, and client communication.
- Provide technical leadership in MEP systems coordination, ensuring integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components into overall project design and construction.
- Collaborate closely with design teams, engineers, and trade partners to resolve complex MEP issues, evaluate constructability, and drive value engineering solutions.
- Manage and mentor project teams, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents, fostering collaboration and accountability across all project disciplines.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and cost reports, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and cost overruns.
- Lead project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to communicate progress, identify challenges, and maintain alignment on project goals.
- Oversee change management, including reviewing change orders, RFIs, submittals, and schedule impacts.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies throughout all project phases.
Profile
- 15+ years experience in the construction industry
- Strong MEP expertise
- Preference for candidates with large-scale, technical project experience in: manufacturing, light industrial, mission critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related project types
- 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study preferred
- Possess values of integrity, honesty, and self-improvement
- Strong leadership skills
- Professional business aptitude
- Software proficiency with the following preferred but not required: AutoDesk, Onscreen Takeoff, REVIT
Candidates must be open to travel.
