Construction Project Controls Manager - NJ

The Project Controls Manager will be supporting the accounting and managemnent operations and teams. In doing so, this individual will be assisting in procurement, contract management, estimating projects, reporting, etc. This person will also be assisting in establishing controls and operating policies that mitgate. monitor, and identify risk factors that could imapact how successful a project is.

Client Details

The client is a fast-growing full service construction and development firm in North New Jersey. They have been around for about 30 years and have a diverse range of projects they take on.

Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform close outs of contracts
• Manage control team and all project control activities: scope, cost, schedule, resource, change, and risk
• Monitor material quanities and labor hours
• Ensure proper month end and year end close outs
• Oversee receivables and payables balance on allocated projects
• Assist in devlopment of operational and reporting standards

Profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in related field or work
• Experience using ProCore and ProSight
• General understanding of construction operations and project accounting
• Strong understanding of controls processes and procedures
