Quality Engineer - Machining | Bonus Eligible!
A machining manufacturer based in the southern suburbs of Chicago is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar manufacturing environment. This position focuses on maintaining outstanding product quality and performance while promoting innovation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client, a family-owned machining manufacturer located in the southern suburbs of Chicago, specializes in serving customers in the automotive and agricultural industries, including well-known companies like Bosch and Case New Holland. Key responsibilities for this role include managing customer communications, conducting root cause analyses and corrective actions, submitting PPAPs, and supporting ISO internal audits.

Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the entire PPAP process
- Preparing and conducting internal ISO 9001 audits
- Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
- Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- PFMEAs

Profile
A successful quality assurance engineer will look like:
- 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
- Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards associated
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Experience with leading or assisting with internal audits
- Strong experience with PPAPs
- Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
- Experience with PFMEA
- GD&T Experience
- No sponsorship is provided
Job Offer
- Salary Range between $75,000 - $85,000
- Bonus eligible
- 3 weeks of PTO
