Description
In this role you'll report directly into the Product Development Manager and be responsible for:
- Advancing projects through new product development phases while assessing technical risks and manufacturability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to update project costs and business cases.
- Summarizing deliverables and securing team approval from concept to launch.
- Coordinating meetings for cost, design, and performance considerations.
- Interacting with vendors for information gathering and compatibility checks.
- Assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and developing new techniques.
- Maintaining project information, writing technical reports, and interfacing with customers.
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years of GD&T / Mechanical design skills
- AutoCAD / SolidWorks familiarity, Autodesk Inventor preferred
- Full product lifecycle experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface with customers
