Scrum Master, BA/PM (Data Integration)

We are looking for a Scrum Master/Project Manager to lead a Data Integration team. This individual will oversee scrum teams working on our client's extensive cloud-based data warehouse. A background in finance is required, with knowledge of derivatives, cash, finance, and banking products being highly desirable.

Description

• Lead core Scrum Master activities, including sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and burn down management.
• Maintain and update the RAID log for the teams under your management.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide status reports and updates.
• Balance PMO milestones with scrum activities by assessing team velocity, blockers, and conflicts.
• Manage project environments when required.
• Provide coaching and mentorship in agile best practices.
• Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions to maintain focus.

Profile

• Strong financial background, with a preference for knowledge in derivatives, cash, finance, and banking products, combined with technical expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficient in using the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and experienced in agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
• Skilled in resource management, sprint grooming, and managing team deliverables, with the ability to identify and resolve blockers while escalating issues when necessary.
• Ability to multitask effectively, assess priority, and make quick decisions to manage ongoing issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and familiarity with standard development practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
