Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Property industry team in Allentown. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring budgets align with project requirements.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project requirements and collaborate with project managers to ensure budget alignment.
• Evaluate and negotiate costs with vendors and subcontractors.
• Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure accurate estimations.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary project information.
• Provide support during the bidding process to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any questions or concerns regarding project costs.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• A strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as estimating tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
• A background in the Property industry or Construction department is preferred.
