Assistant Super / APM - Hybrid

The Hybrid APM / Superintendent is responsible for working in conjunction with the project team on a large light industrial project that is over $200M and includes several buildings.

Description

• Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and ultimately meet or beat project completion date.
• Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.
• Has knowledge and experience with other trades scope of work especially structure and MEP
• Maintain daily and weekly logs of construction progress and being responsible for 2 to 3 week look aheads
• Maintain jobsite safety, health and cleanliness
• Daily inspection of construction site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other applicable regulations.
• Process Changes Orders, RFI's and Submittal's.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, subcontractors, and clients
• Ensure project documentation and reports are complete
• Attend all necessary jobsite meetings

Profile

• 5+ years or large ground up construction project experience
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Large project experience at least $50 to $100M+
• Ability to be on-site in Homestead daily
• Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
• Capacity to motivate, lead and mentor superintendents
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Knowledge and experience with software like Procore or CMiC
• 4 year technical degree preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish
