They have a longstanding reputation for exceptional quality and dedicated customer service, and they are seeking to add an experienced Maintenance Manager to one of their fast-growing sites here in Chicagoland! Description
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team to meet production and safety goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Review KPIs including OEE, to track performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Work with Senior leadership to develop budgets and weigh on site strategy.
- Manage budgets and resources for maintenance projects and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and production.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Profile
- A background in engineering or a related field, with a focus on industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate a team effectively.
- Background in a plastics manufacturing environment is heavily preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
Job Offer
- Base salary $130,000 - $145,000 depending on level of experience.
- Annual site bonus incentive based on revenue.
- 3 Weeks PTO.
