LIHTC Development Project Asset Manager/Director - Traveling -
The Development Project Asset Manager will oversee the management and development of affordable housing projects, ensuring their successful execution and long-term sustainability. This role requires expertise in acquisitions, project management and devlivery and asset management and a commitment to the affordable housing sector.
Client Details
This opportunity is with a well-established, mid-sized organization specializing in LIHTC and Section 8 real estate development and management. The company is dedicated to creating and maintaining affordable housing solutions, focusing on community impact and operational excellence. The client will consider candidates who are open to traveling for 2-3 weeks at a time or who can travel 2-3 days per week, at least for the first 6 months - a generous peridiem will be paid. Description
- Manage the development and operational performance of affordable housing projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and compliance with housing regulations.
- Analyze and optimize asset performance to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and community organizations.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal housing regulations and guidelines.
- Travel as required to oversee project sites and attend meetings.

Profile
A successful Development Project Asset Manager - Traveling - Affordable Housing should have:
- A strong background in project delivery, asset management and affordable housing development.
- Knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize asset performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Offer
