We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Civil Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects within the Business Services industry. This role is based in Detroit and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Description

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all project sites.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.

Profile

A successful Heavy Civil Project Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with construction project management and industry best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with construction software and tools is a plus.
