Production Manager

The Production Manager will act as a primary liaison for global sourcing operations, working closely with teams in overseas offices and vendors. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, negotiating costs, overseeing the product approval process, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Description

• Act as a primary point of contact for daily global sourcing operations, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in overseas offices and with vendors.
• Keep track of seasonal production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Utilize negotiation and costing skills to meet financial goals for a particular product category.
• Update product costs regularly and liaise with overseas offices on cost-related matters.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products during the product approval process.
• Oversee and manage the product approval process for specific categories.
• Monitor and hasten the progress of sample development, notifying relevant partners of any delays or issues.
• Identify and propose enhancements to sourcing processes to enhance efficiency, reporting findings to the manager.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience production/sourcing
• Strong skills in cost analysis and negotiation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently on tasks and job functions
• Establish cross-functional relationships
• Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Mandarin speaking experience is a plus!
