National Accounts Sales Manager - Commercial Security - U.S.
The National Accounts Sales Manager buildsrelaetionships with national and regional customers while identifying new product/service needs and serving as the primary point of contact across key decision-making departments. The role also includes identifying, qualifying and engaging potential new customers to expand opportunities and generate additional growth in both existing and emerging markets.

Description
The National Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with multi‑location, national, and regional customers while driving both sales targets and strategic account objectives. This includes identifying emerging product and service needs within existing accounts. The role centers on engaging headquarters and key decision‑making locations across targeted national and regional retailers, serving as the primary point of contact for these organizations. The Sales Manager will maintain close, proactive engagement with departments such as Loss Prevention, Construction, Facilities/Service, Purchasing, Architecture, and other influential internal groups within each customer.- Build and maintain strong, senior‑level relationships with stakeholders across Loss Prevention, Facilities, Architecture/Construction, and Purchasing to position the client s as the go‑to security solution.
- Actively uncover and pursue new business opportunities within both current accounts and untapped markets, using market knowledge to broaden our overall presence.
- Serve as the primary technical bridge between customer design teams and our applications engineering group, ensuring that project requirements are accurately translated into effective high‑security solutions.
- Regularly evaluate and confirm customer needs across their full portfolio, pinpointing areas where our products can deliver improved protection or operational efficiency.
- Function as the main point of contact for major accounts, providing proactive leadership and thorough follow‑up on project requests, technical questions, and schedules to guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate efforts among cross‑functional teams to ensure internal alignment with the goals of large‑scale national rollouts.
- Assess, scope, and measure complex project requirements, collaborating with engineering and production to develop solutions that address unmet product needs for specialized security applications.
Profile
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of National Account sales experience in building materials, glazing, or engineered products.
- Track record of working cross-functionally across a customer's Loss Prevention, Purchasing, Architecture, and Facilities groups (or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and architectural specifications.
- Significant experience with door systems, rolling shutters, or window systems; prior exposure to security glazing or ballistic solutions is a major advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Qualifications:
- Excellent relationship building skills with track record of applying in dealer / re -seller environments
- Excellent prioritization, time - management, and self -motivation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Access to a major airport (this position requires extensive travel)
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with applicable software such as MSOffice
- Capable of utilizing company quoting software , BI reporting tools, and CRM program
Job Offer
- Base salary commensurate with experience + commission
- 20-30% Quarterly Bonus
