Superintendent - Multifamily and Commercial Construction

Michael Page Miami, FL (Onsite) Full-Time
$110,000 - $135,000/Year

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process for multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and management skills to effectively coordinate with the project team, subcontractors etc.

Client Details

We are a Top South Florida General Contractor with a successful history over the past 25+ years in Commercial and multifamily Construction. The initial project with be assigned to is an affordable housing project in Miami-Dade County

Description

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
  • Coordinate with the project team to develop and execute the project plan, schedule, and budget
  • Hire, train, and supervise subcontractors and other construction personnel
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, plans, and contract documents
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve construction-related issues and ensure timely completion of the project
  • Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and inspection reports
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on construction progress, issues, and solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Monitor and manage the project budget, including cost control measures and change order management
  • Implement and maintain a quality control program to ensure that work meets or exceeds project requirements
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders

Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on multifamily projects
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a large team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Florida Construction experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Proficient in Procore or similar project management software

Job Requirements:
