Superintendent - Multifamily and Commercial Construction
The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process for multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and management skills to effectively coordinate with the project team, subcontractors etc.
Client Details
We are a Top South Florida General Contractor with a successful history over the past 25+ years in Commercial and multifamily Construction. The initial project with be assigned to is an affordable housing project in Miami-Dade County
Description
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Coordinate with the project team to develop and execute the project plan, schedule, and budget
- Hire, train, and supervise subcontractors and other construction personnel
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, plans, and contract documents
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve construction-related issues and ensure timely completion of the project
- Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and inspection reports
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on construction progress, issues, and solutions
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Monitor and manage the project budget, including cost control measures and change order management
- Implement and maintain a quality control program to ensure that work meets or exceeds project requirements
- Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Profile
