Project Manager - Multifamily - SD
As a Project Manager your role will be a key member of the team and will be resposible for the multifamily projects. You will oversee all aspects of the projects from start to finish.
Client Details
We are a small general contractor focusing on multifamily apartments in San Diego. We have a small but strong team and are looking to add aditional members as our company is growing. Our team consists of seasoned professionals, and our goal is to scale the amount of projects and employees within this coming year.
Description
- Participate with Senior Project Manager and Estimating in development of a Project Chart of Accounts
- Develop detailed Project Contract status report.
- Partner with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan
- Maintain thorough understanding of the Design Build contract.
- Lead the project's quality process.
- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate, manage, and communicate changes to contract scope, schedule, and costs.
- Plan and execute inspections, assess compliance and quality, minimize risk.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Regularly confer with supervisors to monitor and report on compliance, quality, and productivity.
- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Profile
- 5+ years in commercial and podium multi-family required. Modular experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Advanced knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
- Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-performance work.
- Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee, and maintaining relationships with external entities.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range $125,000 - $145,000 depending on experience.
