Established over 40 years ago, they have built themselves into a well known, and go to General Contractor for a diverse array of commercial markets including K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Healthcare, etc. With an outstanding employee development program, and an excellent culture, they have become award winning for their tenure and overall reputation. They are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to be a leader and help grow their North Carolina Public work relationships. This individual must have prior experience in Business Development within the NC market specifically.

The Director of Business Development - Top Commercial GC - NC will:
- Maintaining and growing a client base and identifying new revenue opportunities through new and existing contacts
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and pre-construction teams to analyze market conditions and a strong, strategic approach to the market
- Track communications from target clients
- Secure new revenue deals by initiating, coordinating, and closing out initial contracts
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure quality and service during the project
- Communicate and negotiate any necessary terms
- Visit client offices and job sites as necessary
- Collaborate with leadership and architects
- Work with estimating team to communicate budgets and estimates to potential or existing clients
Profile
The Director of Business Development - Top Commercial GC - NC must have:
- 8+ years of experience in a construction business development role with a General Contractor or Architect
- Has to have prior business relationships within the North Carolina Public construction markets
- Bachelor's Degree in business management or a construction related field is preferred
- Experience with a client relationship management software a plus
- Valid driver's license required, as well as ability to travel to local job sites
Job Offer
The Director of Business Development - Top Commercial GC - NC will receive:
- Base Salary - $110,000-160,000
- Strong performance based bonuses and commission
- Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance
