Description

The Senior Project Manager - Top Carolinas GC - Raleigh, NC will be responsible for the following:

• Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
• Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
• Process, review, and track submittals
• Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
• Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
• Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
• Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
• Conducting regular meetings with the team to ensure work is on schedule, within budget and compliant with technical, safety and legal requirements.
• Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
• Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff

Profile

The Senior Project Manager - Top Carolinas GC - Raleigh, NC will the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field strongly preferred but not required
• Experience with commercial, light industrial, health care, or education projects preferred
• 8+ years of total, progressive project management with a GC
• 15M+ construction project experience
• Applicable project management software knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• People smarts and experience in a team-oriented environment
