Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of complex public works projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

We are partnering with a highly reputable general contractor that specializes in large-scale public works projects including infrastructure, government buildings, schools, and transportation facilities. Known for their commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. Description
- Lead multiple public works projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee all project phases, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support to the project team.
- Ensure project deliverables meet the quality standards expected in public works construction.
- Regularly report on project progress, financial status, and any issues that arise, proposing solutions when needed.
Profile
- Experience in construction project management on public works.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven ability to manage large-scale public works projects ($10M+) from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of public works contract administration, permitting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
