Project Manager - Public Projects $50M+ - Waltham MA

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support their growing pipeline of public projects. The PM will lead the management of Large Ground-Up public school projects from their Waltham MA Office. This role offers hands-on experience in managing large-scale, ground-up construction while providing direct exposure to leadership.

Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved.

• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and design partners throughout the construction process.

• Utilize Procore and other construction management tools for documentation and reporting.

• Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and project financials.

• Maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and municipal stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining project momentum.

Profile

The Ideal Project Manager will have:

• 2-5+ years of Lead Project Management experience in construction.

• Experience managing large projects ($20M+) preferred.

• Background in ground-up construction or large-scale renovations.

• Experience with public, academic, or K-12 projects is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with Procore.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

• Ability to commute to Waltham, MA.

Job Offer

• Salary: $125K-$175K (based on experience).
