Description
We are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager (APM) with K-12 experience to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with a Project Manager (PM) to support various projects and take on increasing responsibilities as you grow into a PM position. You will be responsible for document control, tracking finances, and supporting meetings, while also having the opportunity to develop valuable skills in managing projects from start to finish.
The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 Projects - Leading GC will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, including budget tracking, documentation, and coordination.
- Own document control tasks such as submittals and RFIs.
- Take the lead in running OAC meetings, developing price estimates, and managing change orders.
- Gain exposure to tracking finances and managing project costs.
- Ensure all tasks are managed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 Projects - Leading GC will have:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong document control experience (submittals, RFIs).
- Exposure to managing OAC meetings, developing price estimates, and change orders.
- Proficiency with Procore is required; exposure to estimating is preferred.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to grow within the organization.
Job Offer
The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 Projects - Leading GC will receive:
- Competitive Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience
- Car Allowance: $300/month
- Cell Allowance: $125/month
