The Manufacturing Shift Supervisor will oversee manufacturing and converting operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This leadership role involves engaging employees, fostering open communication, and driving performance through coaching and development.
Schedule: Rotating monthly shifts.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide visible leadership and clear communication to manufacturing employees
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety policies
- Supervise all aspects of manufacturing, driving safety, quality, and efficiency
- Train and onboard new hires; develop cross-training plans and work schedules
- Participate in continuous improvement programs (OpEx) and cost-saving initiatives
- Engage employees in productivity improvement activities
- Foster a culture of respect, professionalism, and cooperation
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing (papermaking or nonwovens preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Velocity, ADP, and Oracle
- Collaborative problem-solving and effective communication skills
