Preconstruction Manager
The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for leading the preconstruction phase of commercial / mixed use construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are meticulously planned and executed. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to develop project estimates, schedules, and logistical plans that meet both budgetary and timeline goals. They will be tasked with doing some Project Management as needed

Our client is an established General Contrator that is in growth mode and looking for a strong Preconstruction Manager.
Description
- Project Planning: Lead the preconstruction process from project inception to delivery, including initial assessments of project scope, feasibility, and budget.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects, utilizing historical data, materials pricing, and labor costs.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects and engineers to assess project designs, identify potential challenges, and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Bid Management: Create and manage bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for clients.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all preconstruction activities, effectively communicating with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Scheduling: Develop project timelines, milestones, and schedules to ensure timely completion of preconstruction activities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the preconstruction team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Profile
