Engineering Manager - Somersworth, NH
The Engineering Manager will report directly into the President and lead a team of 4-5 engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to manage various projects, provide technical leadership, and take products through the full lifecycle of manufacturing.

Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead new process development for injection, compression, and transfer molding.
- Manage new tooling design, planning, procurement, and customer expectation reviews.
- Oversee new product review, implementation, and production hand-off.
- Plan and oversee First Article Runs, engineering production startups, and transfers to production.
- Coordinate daily activities across departments with the engineering team.
- Guide new process development and control process documentation.
- Lead and support process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and cycle times.
- Develop cost reduction strategies and support cost reduction programs.

Profile
The successful Engineering Manager will have the following experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- 7+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of molding methods, including compression, transfer, injection, and over-molding
- Knowledge of manufacturing with rubber, plastic, metal, or similar material
- Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary processing techniques and methodologies
- Proven experience in project management
- Preferred background in job shop environments
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
- Familiarity with solid modeling; SolidWorks experience preferred
