The HR Director will lead a team of HR professionals, oversee employee relations, and performance management to foster a positive workplace. They will play a strategic role in shaping organizational policies and workforce planning, partnering closely with senior leaders and C-Suite to align HR strategies with business objectives. They will provide guidance on leadership development, organizational design, and change management to drive long-term business success.

Client Details

Our client is a leading manufacturing company that specializes in producing high-quality solutions for industrial, commercial, and utility applications. They operate multiple manufacturing facilities across the U.S. that the HR Director will support. The role is full-time on-site at the Humble plant with 25-30% travel to the other plants across the U.S.

The HR Director will manage a team of HR professionals across the U.S. This person should have extensive people management experience, a strong desire to develop and mentor teams, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Business acumen is a must, as this role will support C-Suite and senior-level leaders with initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, comp strategy, training & development, and more.

Along with HR, the Director will develop and oversee workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, reducing risks, and fostering a safe environment across the organization, so safety experience is a must.

Description

  • Develop and Execute HR Strategies: Align HR initiatives with business goals, focusing on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational development to support manufacturing operations.

  • Partner with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with executives to drive strategic workforce planning, leadership development, and change management initiatives.

  • Oversee Compensation and Workforce Planning: Design competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and workforce planning strategies to attract and retain top manufacturing talent.

  • Enhance Employee Relations and Compliance: Foster a positive workplace by managing employee relations, ensuring labor law compliance, and implementing policies that support engagement and retention.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement in HR Processes: Utilize data analytics and HR metrics to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance decision-making within the manufacturing environment.

  • HR experience in a manufacturing setting
  • People management experience
  • Proven compensation analysis/strategy experience
  • The ability to go on-site full-time in Humble
  • Ability to travel 25-30%
