EHS Manager
Client Details

Description
- Develop, implement, and oversee all EHS programs, policies, and procedures across multiple production and fulfillment areas.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA or state equivalent, fire code, hazardous waste, etc.).
- Conduct routine facility audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action plans.
- Manage hazardous materials, waste disposal programs, and environmental documentation requirements.
- Develop and deliver safety training, including onboarding, emergency response, PPE usage, and job‑specific programs.
- Maintain EHS documentation, reporting, metrics, and recordkeeping to meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, external auditors, and emergency services.
- Drive safety culture initiatives that engage employees, improve awareness, and reinforce accountability.
- Partner with leadership to develop long‑term EHS strategy and continuous improvement roadmaps.

Profile
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, food/bev, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, chemical, or similar regulated production environment.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; Cal/OSHA knowledge a plus.
- Experience managing hazardous materials, waste programs, and environmental compliance.
- Proven track record leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to design and deliver effective safety training across diverse teams and shift structures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and leadership.
- EHS certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM) are a strong plus but not required.
- A hands‑on, floor‑focused leadership style with a passion for building safe workplaces.
