As the Systems Engineer, you will be tasked with tasks that will contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical technology and advancements. You will design and develop solutions for hardware and software components for impactful medical devices.

Description

Reporting directly into the Senior Director, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop system architecture and design
• Adhere to regulatory compliance requirements
• Interface between engineering teams and internal and external stakeholders
• Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols
• Ensure system component cohesiveness
• Create models and simulations prior to prototyping
• Contribute to the developing of hardware and software solutions
• Engage with vendors to understand their needs and requirements

Profile

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering related field
• Master's Degree in engineering field is desired
• 5+ years of experience in the medical device field
• Experience with both hardware and software development lifecycles
• Experience in design, development, testing, and integration of hardware and software components
• Understanding of system architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Vendor management experience
