Plant Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee all operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. Description
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production goals are met on time and within budget.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, ensuring a safe and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality while maintaining safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to address any shortfalls in performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations and supply chain processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the plant's annual budget, forecasting costs and ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and proactive problem-solving across the team.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and analyze operational data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing context.
