Plant Manager

Description

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production goals are met on time and within budget.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, ensuring a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality while maintaining safety standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to address any shortfalls in performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations and supply chain processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the plant's annual budget, forecasting costs and ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and proactive problem-solving across the team.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and analyze operational data.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing context.
