VP - Data Engineering and Reporting Lead
A client is hiring for a Data Engineering & Reporting Lead (VP level) to support a data platform migration. They will be an individual contributor responsible for meeting with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these to the development team.
Client Details
The client is an established firm in the reinsurance space.
Description
Spearhead the migration of on-premise data assets to Azure Cloud, leading data engineering and reporting initiatives.
Design and deploy data products using Azure Databricks and Power BI to support business intelligence reporting.
Provide expertise in data processing, model design, and Azure Databricks to ensure quality and compliance in data solutions.
Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines, manage DBT workflows, and optimize data models, dashboards, and reporting performance.
Profile
Must Haves-
Reinsurance Industry Experience

Enterprise Power BI and/or Databricks Reporting

Azure Cloud experience
-
Data modeling (star schema/tabular), DAX, performance optimization, and self-serve reporting enablement.

Must be able to engage senior stakeholders and operate independently across technical and business functions.
