Assistant Program Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects, assisting with planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks. Our client covers mainly education and commercial construction.
Client Details
This client is located in Maple Grove and has a fantastic repuation in the market. They offer a very flexbile schedule and take pride in their company culture. They are a mix of a General Contractor and an Owner's rep so you get the experience of working on both sides.
Description
- Support multiple projects simultaneously with potentially high levels of complexity
- Assist in managing design-related aspects of the project, including schedule, scope, and budget
- Develop project specific plans, reports, and procedures as needed
- Support scope / design team contracts
- Provide communication channels to ensure requirements are being met
- Communicate with subconsultants and clients about areas of responsibility
- Monitor project status and program objectives in coordination with company and client expectations
- Mitigate risk to both company and the client organization
- Attend on-site meetings
Profile
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the facilities or construction management field
- Proven ability to manage complex projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to translate technical jargon and project related information to meet client needs
- Active listening skills
- Proven ability to operate with integrity and empathy, and build lasting trust-based relationships
- Self-directed and highly organized in approach to work
- Able to consistently produce accurate, high-quality deliverables on time
- Able to hold self and others accountable to drive projects forward and achieve goals
- Strong computer skills with competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Able to travel and accommodate flexible scheduling
Job Offer
- Base salary of $70,000-$95,000, depending on experience
