Legal Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our team. Description
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Manage case files and maintain organized records, both electronically and in physical formats.
- Handle client communications professionally and confidentially.
- Monitor deadlines and manage attorney task lists to ensure timely completion of all assignments.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including electronic communications.
- Assist with billing processes, time entry, and expense reporting.
- Perform legal research and gather case-related materials as needed.
Profile
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
