Manufacturing Engineer - Plastics - Groton, MA
The Manufacturing Engineer focuses on developing and optimizing processes to support high-volume, high-quality production in a cleanroom setting.
You will lead process standardization, equipment procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with global teams.

Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in establishing and improving processes for precision components in a variety of environments. You will collaborate with global teams to standardize processes, implement lean initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and optimize extrusion processes to meet future customer demands.
- Lead procurement and implementation of specialized machinery and equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Profile
The ideal Manufacturing Engineer has extensive experience in manufacturing, cleanroom operations, and process optimization. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects in a collaborative environment are essential.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD, FMEA, DFMA, and lean transformation tools.
- Experience with cleanroom processes and SPC for process consistency.
