Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Assisting in all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution
• Coordinating with various parties to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports
• Conducting site visits to monitor work progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any on-site issues
• Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address concerns
• Assisting in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources
• Supporting in negotiating contracts and change orders
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications

Profile

The right Project Manager has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management role with GC
• Commercial project background
• Mill Experience (conversions) is a plus
• Well-rounded project portfolio
• Proven track record of managing projects $5M +
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Procore & Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
