Specialize in Design/Build - Commercial, Warehouse, Medical, Financial, Retail, Automotive projects - both new construction & renovation work valued between $1-20M

Description
The Estimator is responsible for:
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
- Collaborating with various parties (architects, subs, etc.) to gather necessary information
- Preparing and submitting comprehensive, competitive bids and proposals
- Evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Conducting value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and cost factors
- Assisting in project cost control and budget management

Profile
The right candidate has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of commercial estimating experience
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry (preferably design/build)
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools: On Screen Take-off, Bluebeam, Procore, MS
- Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities creating construction schedules
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
