Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, analyze subcontractor proposals, and manage bid processes.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Track market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and reliable estimates.
- Maintain organized records of project costs, contracts, and documentation.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of estimating experience in the commercial construction sector, with a strong understanding of bid processes and cost analysis. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A proven track record of managing multiple bids simultaneously, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, will set you apart. Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software is essential.
