Job Description

    • Assist and collaborate with the marketing team to assemble project proposals.
    • Manage an opportunity list of 10-40 projects at any given time.
    • Make daily/weekly entries into Cosential CRM to document contact and progress.
    • Close 2-5 sales per year with preferred volume of $10 - $50M.
    • Attend networking and community events to facilitate good community relations.
    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of processes and tasks while clearly communicating expectations to others.
    • Recognize future problems, perform research, and propose preventative action.
    • Communicate with the Vice President of Marketing and Management on status of leads.
    • Assist and support the Operations and Marketing team to seek out and gain subcontractor interest for project proposals and estimates.
    • Manage an opportunity list of $200M-$400M at any given time.
    • Contribute to the success and execution of the company's sales goal.
    • Organize monthly office calls with Regional Directors and VP of Marketing.
    • Attend monthly marketing calls with colleagues from all regions.
    • Develop subcontractor relationships in current and future areas of work.
    • Create regular and consistent contact with prospects and existing customers who meet our corporate goals.
    • Prepare and present for prospective client meetings.
    • Focus on sales efforts on the diversity set forth within our strategic planning.
    • Actively lead by example and champion diversity in everyday actions and decisions.
    • Respects differences and similarities; listens and takes the time to understand viewpoints of others.
    • Fosters an environment of trust.
    • Maintains and displays company values and culture.
    • Some travel and weekend work as necessary.

Profile

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial construction industry
  • Strong background in technologies like Zoom Info, Salesforce, and other intelligent sales platforms
  • Proven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospects
  • Passion for excellent customer service and a strive to exceed sales targets
  • Outstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • A minimum of 5 years in the Architectural, Engineering or Construction industry.
  • Experience building a professional network in the Florida region.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state of Florida
