Our client is a leading general contractor based in Los Angeles, specializing in delivering complex DSA Public works projects. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in DSA (Division of the State Architect) to help lead the team/project.

Job Description

This DSA Project Manager will report into the Senior Project Manager.

  • Manage all phases of health care construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring adherence to DSA standards.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, monitoring progress and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with DSA, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and change management processes.
  • Lead project meetings, providing updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Profile



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, with a focus on DSA- regulated projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DSA regulations, policies, and approval processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale educational construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Pro core, Blue beam, MS Project).
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
