Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water/wastewater and utility construction projects throughout the Beltsville region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex civil projects, and values both autonomy and teamwork.

You will be responsible for full project lifecycle management-from estimating support and preconstruction planning to field execution, financial oversight, client communication, and closeout. Projects typically fall within a one-hour radius of the Beltsville office.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance
* Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Develop and maintain project schedules, cost reports, and documentation
* Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and local agencies
* Support estimating efforts and provide constructability input
* Oversee procurement, change orders, and project financials
* Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Profile

* 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or utility construction
* Strong understanding of underground utilities, site work, and municipal infrastructure
* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and field operations
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
