Local Superintendent - can be union or non-union
The qualified individual will be responsible for running the on-site day-to-day operations related to the success and completion of construction projects. You'll coordinate material procurement while also effectively communicating with clients, subcontractors, and project managers.

My client is a general contractor located just outside of the St. Louis area working on residential, commercial, medical, and restoration construction projects. The company started as a residential home builder that has recently seen significant growth due to the opening of a commercial side. They take pride in working with repeat clients to build long-term relationships and have so much success in this because of their focus on delivering projects on time and under budget to clients. There is plenty of growth potential within the company; they're looking to double in size and need more senior leaders. They're looking for a qualified individual to fill a Superintendent role.
Description
- Run the day-to-day operations on-site & report directly into Project Managers.
- Assist in all aspects of the construction process.
- Schedule all trade & manpower activities for efficient work flow.
- Attend pre-bid meetings & walk-throughs, as required.
- Track long lead items & material procurement.
- Prepare & distribute project schedules.
- Coordinate all required inspections (municipal, material, etc.).
- Hold start-up meetings with subcontractors to review scope of work, schedule & safety requirements.
- Maintain and enforce current OSHA required certifications.

Profile
- 5+ years of construction industry experience
- Experience leading $500K - $5M projects
- Ground-up and/or renovation experience
- Ability to develop relationships w/ on-site teams and clients
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
Job Offer
- Base salary between $95,000 - $125,000 dependent upon experience level
