- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality professionals.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to define quality expectations for products and processes.
- Drive defect‑prevention efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Enhance and maintain the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001.
- Support internal and external audits and lead ISO registration/surveillance activities.
- Ensure documentation and procedures remain accurate and consistently followed.
- Oversee the corrective and preventive action process, including structured root‑cause analysis.
- Investigate customer complaints and manage resolution plans.
- Track and report Cost of Poor Quality data across scrap, rework, and warranty areas.
- Support supplier quality initiatives and vendor performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain customer acceptance and inspection processes.
- Travel as needed to customer sites, suppliers, and benchmarking partners.
- Lead and support lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in manufacturing quality, ideally within capital equipment, industrial, or heavy‑industry environments.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience managing or supervising quality personnel.
- Expertise in root‑cause analysis, CAPA, and practical problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of measurement and inspection tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across all functional levels.
