In this Manufacturing Engineer role you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing the manufacturing processes to ensure the highest level of efficiency, quality, and safety. Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and apply Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with the tooling and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and design/modify fixtures for improved process performance.
• Work closely with the quality department to identify process-related quality issues and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Develop and maintain accurate process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent execution of manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations and safety standards.

Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred. Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Experience with FEA analysis tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-collaborative teams
