Production Manager | Aerospace
Production managers oversee the manufacturing process and make sure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently. They work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.

Renowned for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, The client specializes in custom gear cutting, grinding, and complete gearbox assemblies for a wide range of industries-including aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial equipment.
Description
- Planning - assisting Production Control Manager on preparing orders, setting quality standards and estimating timescales and costs
- Control - monitoring production schedules and adjusting them if problems occur
- Supervision - managing supervisors, organizing staff and making sure targets are met.
- Put together production reports for factory managers and clients.
- Work closely with supervisors, maintenance technicians, company buyers, suppliers, quality control, training departments, and health and safety managers.
- Managing production related KPI's, such as: productivity, efficiency and direct vs indirect labor
- Participating the layered audit process
- Participating in Gemba walk
- Participating in MRB meetings
- Ensuring 6S compliance in every operational area
- Ensuring compliance to FOD (Foreign Object Defects)
Profile
- Good project management skills
- the ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels
- Power Point presentation skills
- problem solving skills
- understanding of manufacturing processes
- understanding of ISO quality standards
- the ability to make effective decisions under pressure and ability to meet deadlines. Compliance with health and safety policy per OSHA requirement
Job Offer
- Base salary range $100,000 - $120,000 depending on level of experience
- Annual bonus incentive of 10% based on personal metrics & company performance
- 17 days PTO
