Operational Excellence Manager

$150,000 - $185,000/Year

This role leads quality, continuous improvement, safety, and process‑engineering initiatives to drive world‑class operational performance across the organization. It oversees daily SQDCI activities, manages quality and materials functions, and guides company‑wide OpEx efforts - including kaizen events, supplier‑process improvements, cost‑out projects, and performance tracking.

Description

  • Oversees daily SQDCI activities within Materials and Quality while ensuring planners maintain item availability to meet service and inventory goals.
  • Leads all Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives, partnering with leadership to drive company‑wide training, engagement, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Analyzes manufacturing operations and provides recommendations to update and strengthen facility implementation plans.
  • Develops and delivers training modules, supporting robust manufacturing processes both internally and at supplier locations.
  • Facilitates Kaizen events, value‑analysis sessions, and other CI activities across locations and product categories.
  • Tracks productivity and major project performance, documenting results and measurable benefits.

Profile

A successful Operational Excellence Manager should have:

  • MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Strong English leadership and results oriented skills.
  • 5+ years experience as an operational manager
  • Extensive experience in new product development (NPD) or new product introduction (NDI) in the field of Turbo machinery, including Engineering Management experience.
  • Demonstrated change management experience with proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Proven experience of cost out projects.
  • A strong background in Engineering & Manufacturing operations.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.
