Traveling Project Manager- Tilt Wall Construction
- oversees the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. They coordinate with subcontractors, manage project schedules, and resolve any issues that arise on-site to keep the project moving smoothly.

My client is a top-ranked national General Contractor known for its specialization in large-scale tilt-wall, aviation, and distribution center projects. With a strong reputation in both private and federal sectors, they are continuing to expand their footprint across the U.S. due to a robust backlog and client demand.
Description
The Project Manager will take ownership of ground-up construction projects with a primary focus on tilt-wall, aviation, and large-scale distribution center facilities. This role is responsible for all project phases from preconstruction through closeout and requires strong leadership, scheduling, and client management skills. The Project Manager will lead an on-site team and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Lead overall project delivery for tilt-wall/aviation/distribution center projects from $25M-$100M+
Coordinate with internal estimating, scheduling, and field operations teams
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the construction lifecycle
Monitor cost reports, schedules, change orders, and quality assurance
Serve as the main point of contact for the client, architect, and consultants
Ensure project execution aligns with company safety and quality standards
Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant PMs and Project Engineers
Travel nationally and remain on-site for project duration
Please note that this is a traveling role. Projects are located across the U.S., and full-time travel with per diem support is required.
Profile
In return for a competitive remuneration package, you will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - preferred
7+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial or industrial projects - required
Previous project experience in tilt-wall, aviation, or distribution center sectors - required
Strong scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration knowledge
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability and willingness to travel nationally for extended project durations
Job Offer
Base salary of $135,000 - $145,000
Per diem provided for all travel assignments
