Traveling Project Manager- Tilt Wall Construction

Description

The Project Manager will take ownership of ground-up construction projects with a primary focus on tilt-wall, aviation, and large-scale distribution center facilities. This role is responsible for all project phases from preconstruction through closeout and requires strong leadership, scheduling, and client management skills. The Project Manager will lead an on-site team and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead overall project delivery for tilt-wall/aviation/distribution center projects from $25M-$100M+

  • Coordinate with internal estimating, scheduling, and field operations teams

  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the construction lifecycle

  • Monitor cost reports, schedules, change orders, and quality assurance

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client, architect, and consultants

  • Ensure project execution aligns with company safety and quality standards

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant PMs and Project Engineers

  • Travel nationally and remain on-site for project duration

Please note that this is a traveling role. Projects are located across the U.S., and full-time travel with per diem support is required.

Profile

In return for a competitive remuneration package, you will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - preferred

  • 7+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial or industrial projects - required

  • Previous project experience in tilt-wall, aviation, or distribution center sectors - required

  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration knowledge

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally for extended project durations

Job Offer

  • Base salary of $135,000 - $145,000

  • Per diem provided for all travel assignments
