The Senior Quality Engineer will be working hands on with the rest of the manufacturing and engineering team. Working with the AS9100 & NADCAP standards. Metals and customer facing experience are needed to work in this position.

Description

Senior Quality Engineer:

  • Operate and maintain advanced metal forming equipment to produce aerospace- and defense-grade components with precision.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure all parts meet stringent quality standards, including AS9100 requirements.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections, documenting results to support traceability and compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer visits and audits, confidently representing production capabilities and quality processes.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges on the shop floor.
  • Take an active, hands-on role in daily manufacturing activities, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company and industry best practices.

Profile

Senior Quality Engineer:

  • Proven experience in precision manufacturing or metal forming, ideally within aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 quality standards and their application in daily production activities.
  • Comfortable working hands-on with complex machinery and forming processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, specification-driven parts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally during customer interactions and audits.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious, with a strong sense of accountability and pride in their work.
