Industrial - Engineering Supervisor - Amherst, NH
This role oversees process development within a highly specialized R&D division focused on advancing manufacturing technologies. The Process Development Supervisor will lead a small, skilled technical team, drive a safety-first culture, and manage the development, testing, and refinement of processes and equipment. The position blends hands-on problem solving with leadership, project coordination, and process optimization, supporting both internal initiatives and external customer-driven projects.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a safety-first culture and enforce safe work practices
- Supervise a small, skilled technical team
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for process issues in manufacturing, inspection, and testing
- Coordinate project deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop operating procedures, improve processing techniques, and introduce new process equipment
- Oversee shop scheduling and priorities for engineering staff
- Use data to enhance foundry process understanding and control
- Execute process development, materials testing, and internal/external engineering projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Mentor and train less experienced personnel
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and materials engineering
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, engineering modeling, and statistical tools
