Description

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for:

• Supervising all phases of construction from planning to completion to ensure work is progressing according to schedule and specifications.
• Coordinating and managing on-site crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and job quality.
• Creating, adjusting, and maintaining project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met without delays.
• Inspecting work regularly to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project plans.
• Enforcing site safety protocols and conducting safety meetings to prevent accidents and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Ordering materials, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies needed for construction phases.
• Identifying and resolving issues quickly to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
• Serving as the primary point of contact between field staff, project managers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent updates.
• Maintaining daily logs, site reports, and documentation of work progress, delays, weather conditions, and incidents.
• Monitoring costs on-site to keep the project within budget and avoid unnecessary expenditures.

Profile

The right Construction Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent
• General Contractor experience, public renovation experience
• Project background in Public Work
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
• Strong literacy of MS Office, Procore, Etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
