Pool Superintendent - Miami, FL
- Superintendent to build pools on High Rise projects
- Working on site with reputable General Contractor.
Client Details
Subcontractor local to the Miami-Dade area that works closely with a top general contractor in the market. They focus on building pools for high rise hospitality/ multifamily buildings. Offering a strong base salary and someone long term.
Description
- Oversee all aspects of pool construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including scheduling and managing subcontractors, labor, and materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and safety records.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to create a safe work environment.
- Liaise with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety and quality.
Profile
- High school diploma; a degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with a focus on commercial pool projects.
- Strong knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
- Proven experience managing high-rise construction projects is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
