Assistant Project Manager -General Contractor -Top 200 ENR GC
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager (PM) in commercial construction/renovation projects, primarily within the commercial, government, and K-12 sectors

My client is a highly respected general contractor with a focus on delivering high-quality construction services across the Mid-Atlantic region, particularly within the Washington, DC metro area. The company has built a strong reputation for excellence in managing complex, large-scale projects, including federal government, institutional, and historic restoration work
Description
- Assist Project Manager in execution of management plan for assigned project
- Help coordinate and manage project from inception to completion
- Review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs
- Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Track and directly report project status updates to project manager
- Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
- Punch Lists for close out of projects
Profile
- Bachelors Degree in construction, architecture, engineering is preferred
- 2+ years of commercial project management experience
- Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Desire to grow and learn
