Our client, a nationally recognized Top 150 ENR firm, has been an established GC for over 100 years. They have become one of the most prominent GC's in the Southeast, building up an extremely stable pipeline of diverse projects including highrise, education, healthcare, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, in the Charlotte market. Their employee tenure is fantastic, and the majority of their team has an average of 10+ years tenure. They also have an outstanding company culture, and are one of the most well known GCs in the Charlotte. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to help lead their operations in that region.

Description

The Construction Project Manager - Charlotte - Tilt Up / Healthcare will be responsible for:

  • Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
  • Process, review, and track submittals
  • Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
  • Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
  • Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
  • Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
  • Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
  • Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
  • Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff

Profile

The Construction Project Manager - Charlotte - Tilt Up / Healthcare should have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager w/ General Contractor
  • Experience working on large scale ground up commercial projects (10M+) - Healthcare projects preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • OSHA certification and construction software knowledge is a plus

Job Offer
